The Central Arkansas Transit Authority, operating as The CAT, provides public transportation for Little Rock, Arkansas and suburban Pulaski County, Arkansas. Several other areas outside these region are served by commuter routes. A heritage streetcar through Downtown Little Rock is also one of the agency's services.

River Cities Travel Center is the main transit hub in Little Rock. 20 regular bus lines and 4 express bus lines converge on this transit center.
The Central Arkansas Transit Authority has planned four commuter rail lines for the Little Rock area. They are included in the 2030-2 plan for the area and are listed below:
